An interesting look back at a dying hobby: Building your own radio and accoutrements. The articles and diagrams noted in these reprinted Popular Science articles are so instructional that I'm betting any kid nowadays could build themselves a radio, if they could find the parts or had the inclination to learn to read. But since both of those situations occurring are beyond belief when the average teenager is figured into the situation, this book is mere nostalgia for even us old guys who remember the days when Radio Shack what just that.
